Hey guys!
Today I’ve got a post all about my 2016 beauty favourites. If you’d like to see what I’ve been loving throughout the year & what I can’t live without please keep reading.
First of all, I LOVE this Burt’s Bees Orange Essence Cleanser. I’ve done a review on this already but this is without a doubt my #1 skincare item of 2016. It’s seriously the best cleanser I’ve ever tried. It makes your face squeaky clean as well as EXTREMElY moisturised. Typically, cleansers dry out your face or only moisturiser it a little. This one feels like you’ve just lathered your face in a moisturiser as soon as you wash it off. I’m obsessed; you guys have to give this cleanser a go. Never thought I’d be so in love with a cleanser, haha!
In the past few months I’ve become Korean beauty & skincare OBSESSED. I seriously can’t stop purchasing new lip tints, skincare and all that good stuff. The biggest standout of all the lip tints is definitely the Beauty People Capsule Lip Tint. I have the shade “Tomato”. This one is so pigmented and stains your lip nicely. It lasts a long time and lasts pretty well even after you’ve eaten. Let me know if you guys would like a “lip tint haul/review”; I’ve bought over 10 now… (help).
I’ve also been loving the Daiso Blackhead Strips. They’re only $2.80 and I find they work better than the Biore Pore Strips – it’s a win-win! I’ve done a review on this as well if you want a more detailed review.
I only started using detangling brushes late last year and since then my life has been changed. I didn’t know how much of a difference a detangling brush would make compared to a normal bristled brush. The one I use is by Dessatta (I have also done a full review on this). It’s great quality and such a cute colour. They’ve got many more colours and patterns available. Definitely worth the investment – if you guys haven’t tried a detangling brush before I highly recommend it. It is so much ore gentle on your hair and detangles knots much more quick.
My go to eyeshadow palette is an affordable one. It’s the Ulta3 “All About Eyes – Bronze” palette. Although it’s super affordable, the quality is great. I find that these eyeshadows do not fade or crease even without a primer which is so good since I’m typically not bothered priming my eyelids. I love that I can create a simple look with these shadows, love the shade range. Read my full review here (has swatches).
I have been obsessed with the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette. It is crazy pigmented and again, quite affordable. It’s definitely a steal and I’d highly recommend it. It was so hyped up in the beauty community on YouTube and for the right reasons!
I’ve really enjoyed using the Kat Von D Contour Palette for contouring. It’s easy to blend and very pigmented so you only need a small amount. I like the shades as well, they are great for contouring.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading about what I’ve been loving in 2016. Let me know your must have product of 2016 down below and don’t forget to follow me on my social medias to keep up to date.
