Review: Daiso $2.80 Blackhead Remover Mask Strip

Hi guys!

Today I thought I’d review the Daiso Blackhead Remover Mask Strip for y’all. If you don’t know what Daiso is it’s a Japanese discount store in Australia (and other parts of the world) which sells almost all their items for $2.80. I decided to pick up their blackhead strips and test them out since they are cheaper than the Biore ones. It comes in a pack of 4 for $2.80. If you’d like to see my thoughts please keep reading.

So when I first bought this I had doubts of how effective it would be since I have tried their blackhead mask (the one you smother over your nose and let it dry) which didn’t do anything which was disappointing. You apply the mask just like the Biore ones, you wet your nose and then stick the strip on. You wait until it is completely dry and then you can peel it off. It does hurt quite a little, well a lot when you peel it off and I found the Daiso one has a weird scent to it which I don’t really like. However, it successfully removed quite a few whiteheads and blackheads from my nose! I’ve used it twice in two weeks and my nose is SO soft, like seriously it feels like silk. I am very impressed with how well these blackhead strips worked and would definitely repurchase and recommend it to you guys!

Pros:

  • Works quite effectively
  • Leaves nose feeling silky smooth
  • Cheap

Cons:

  • Painful to remove
  • Product has a weird smell

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed my review on the Daiso Blackhead Strips and I would definitely recommend them if you’re after a good strip!

Amy x
