Hi guys!
Today I’ll be reviewing the Boujie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick. If you’d like to know my thoughts please keep reading.
Hey guys!
Today I’ve got a trend post for y’all and it’s the ombré lip trend. I’m a bit late to make a post about these but they are definitely still popular from what I’ve observed. I love the creative, bold looks they create if you opt to use bright or dark colours, alternatively you can go for a soft, more casual look with a variation of pinks. I haven’t tried these myself but imagine it would take quite a bit of practice to make them look sleek and flawless. I feel like the bolder ombré lips would be perfect for music festivals or costume parties.
Have any of you guys tried it out and if so how did it turn out?
Here are some pics (be sure to leave a vote down below about which one was your fav!):
Hi guys!
So I didn’t think I’d be doing another haul so quickly but I swear this shall be my last for awhile – my bank needs a break. This month I bought (more) beauty products such as products from Maybelline (I did a separate haul for that so click here if you’d like to see that), Rimmel and Australis as well as picked up some hair styling products from priceline during their 40% off hair products sale. Onto the haul! Sorry that I didn’t keep the receipts for some of these, I didn’t plan to end up doing a haul.
Hi guys!
Today I’ve got a highly requested review for you all – the Rimmel Apocoalips! I heard so many youtubers and bloggers rave about these so I had to splurge (during the priceline sale of course) on these beauties.
From left to right: I’ll Call You, Kiss Me You Fool, Dare To Pink, Skinny Dipping, Make Your Move & Little Minx.

Now onto the review:
Price: $17.95 (In Australia)
Pros:
The product comes with two sides – the actual pigment/colour and a clear gloss which seals the colour in. The lipgloss does have a slight scent which is a subtle, sweet scent (not unpleasant at all) – the scent wears away after a few minutes of wear. The main reason why I decided to purchase this product was the promised longevity and I can safely say it doesn’t last 16 hours but definitely does last a long time. It has minimal transfer proof while drinking and eating, unless it is something oily. The actual colour itself is amazingly pigmented and I use two dips to give me a full, vibrant colour. The packaging is the norm and comes with a doe foot applicator. Once the product is on with the lip gloss on top, it does feel like velvet on your lips and another major pro is that this lip product is not that drying for my lips (my lips are very sensitive and dry).
Cons:
A major con for me was that I did have to touch up throughout the day, the amount of times depending on what I ate. If you eat oily foods while wearing this, it does wear away in the middle of your mouth. When you reapply it, it does extenuate your dry spots which is annoying so make sure to exfoliate beforehand! Another con is that when I applied a lipbalm before applying this product, it affected how the product went on – it became patchy and seemed to disappear so I recommend putting a lip balm on at least half an hour beforehand and wiping of the excess before you apply this. The product also sometimes forms these little balls of lip product – I’m not sure why, it could be because of the oily food I ate before and then reapplied on top of that (although I did wipe my mouth) which is super annoying. The lip product itself without the lip gloss is super sticky (only without the first application of the lip gloss, if you apply it once it’s fine), so you definitely need to use the lip gloss to set it, however the gloss does wear off quite quickly and if you eat anything it will surely be wiped off. The last con, which is somewhat silly but very annoying is that these are IMPOSSIBLE to take off – I find myself scrubbing away at my lips for ages, which isn’t so good for dry, sensitive lips like mine, but I suppose this is a given and is made up for since it lasts a long time.
Recommend:
Overall, this is an amazing product & I would definitely repurchase and recommend it to you guys, however I would wait until there’s a sale on or a 3 for 2 deal before buying this product, because $18 for one is crazy in my opinion. If you are looking for an overall long lasting, pigmented lipgloss definitely give this one a shot. I am aware that there are more cons and pros in my review, but the cons are just little things which are definitely made up by the staying power and colour pay off.

Hope you guys enjoyed my review and leave your thoughts about this product below! Also I’ve heard the Australis Velour Lips are amazing too, so I’m definitely going to try those out. I’ve been trying to get my hands on them but they are sold out everywhere arghh!

Hi guys,
So I’ve got a quick haul for you all! Priceline emailed me saying that all cosmetics is 40% off for two days – who can resist that! Today I headed over and bought a few things, hehe.
First I picked up these provocalips which means I have got 6 now – I haven’t had a chance to go out and wear them in public (but I did wear it in my house and it lasted forever, ahaha 😉 ), so I’ve definitely got a review for these coming up in the next two weeks, especially because I know some of you have been asking for one. I had to buy these while on sale because they’re normally $18 and I got them for about $11 each, which is a huge bargain if you ask me.
These baby lips have had so much hype and great things said about them, so I went ahead and finally bought one. I’ve got sensitive lips so I didn’t want to buy too many just in case they reacted badly. These were originally $4 and I got them for about $2.30. They also smell AMAZING, like actual mango!
I needed a new, high quality gel liner so I picked up the maybelline one – I read some reviews on this and it seemed pretty good, so I will try it out. I really hope it doesn’t budge or smudge, haha, and will definitely do a review on this. This was originally $17 and I got it for about $10.
Now funny story, I spent like 50 minutes in the store trying to decide what shade I wore in these foundations -_- I hate how I am so indecisive! I have heard great reviews and raves about the following two foundations so I really wanted to try them out for my combo/oily skin.
I got the Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1 foundation in the darkest colour which I was unsure about, but the shade under it was a bit too light, so I took a gamble and picked up the darkest one. It was orginally $20 and I got it for about $12.
Lastly, I got the much loved Revlon Colourstay Foundation in soft beige, which is the third lightest colour. I realise that this is such a big contrast to my covergirl one, but yeah… It does match, but I do look a little paler which can be fixed by bronzer. I bought this shade because the medium ones had a more pink tone which doesn’t match me at all as I’m sort of olivey. This one is normally $35 and I got it for about $21.
I also wanted to purchase the ‘Stay Matte’ primer by Rimmel and the Maybelline ‘Fit Me’ concealer but they didn’t have any in stock, however I got the main items I wanted so I am soo happy!
Hope you guys enjoyed this quick post & I apologise for the lack of posts recently but I have exams currently (ugh 😦 ). Let me know what you’ve recently bought or if you went to priceline too!
