Hey guys!
Today I’ve got my favourite type of post for y’all and that’s a haul. I’ve made quite a lot of beauty and skincare purchases over the last month (a lot of them are Korean beauty and skincare which are still coming) so I thought I’d share what I’ve bought with you guys. If you’d like to see what I’ve purchased, please keep reading.
I’ve been thinking about getting a Mimco clutch for quite awhile since they’re sooo pretty. I’ve been hesitating for awhile since it is quite expensive but I just decided I’d go for it. The reason why I decided to get it was because I wanted to downsize the amount I carry around – sometimes my bag is just soooo heavy so I thought this would be a good change since it limits the amount I can carry. I got the Mimco clutch in the shade “blush pink”.
Secondly I decided to pick up the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette and see if it’s worth the hype. I’ve only used it once so far but honestly I’m not too impressed with the amount of shadow it kicks up. However, the shadows themselves are very pigmented and blend nicely. I’ll probably do an in depth review later on once I’ve played with it more.
I also picked up the travel sizes of Becca’s shimmering skin perfector and their highlighter in ‘opal’ – they are sooo small and so cute! I do like the opal highlighter but it is quite similar to MAC ‘soft and gentle’. It is great for traveling though (duh).
Something else that I am thoroughly excited about are the Pixi Beauty mists. This is actually the first time I’m trying anything from Pixi but have heard countless great things about the brand. Recently, I have been getting super into skincare (I’ve purchased heaps of Korean skincare online and cannot wait for that to come) so these mists came at a perfect time. They have a ‘vitamin wake me up mist’, ‘glow mist’, ‘makeup fixing mist’ and a ‘hydrating milky mist’. I’ll be putting these to the test over the next few weeks and will definitely have a review coming on them.
I have also picked up this beauty; the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette. This is without a do doubt my favourite palette of all time. I just am obsessed with the pinky colours in the palette and cannot stop using it. Not to mention this palette legitimately smells AMAZING!
I have picked up the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in #27 – it’s the only BB cream I’ve found to actually be dark enough and yellow for my skin tone. I’ll have a review on this coming up sometime, I’m not too sure how I feel about it. I feel like it breaks me out when I use it but will keep testing it out. It seems that most foundations break me out and I’m not entirely sure why – if you guys have any idea please let me know! The only thing I can think of is that they contain oil in it – so maybe I should go for oil free ones.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed my makeup and skincare haul and let me know your fav purchase of the month!

Awesome haul! I’ve been curious about the Pixi stuff too.
I got that Missha BB cream since I heard so many raves for it, but I had to give it to a friend because it broke me out. I looked up the ingredients and I suspect it was the jojoba oil or beeswax causing me to break out. See the CosDNA report:

Thanks! So far I’m really loving it. I’ve been using the vitamin wake me up mist to give extra hydration to my face and it seems to do doing amazing. Ahhh thank you! I’m going to check that out now. xxx
