Hi guys!
A few days ago I went to see the fireworks for the first time ever in Sydney. My friend and I went early, did some shopping and then waited there for like 7 hours (no kidding). We thought it’d be great to make a list of what to bring next time to make the experience a tad more pleasant, this list can apply to any big outdoor events as well such as festivals. I thought I’d share the list on here with you guys so enjoy!
WHAT TO BRING TO NEW YEAR FIREWORKS/FESTIVALS.
- Water
- Snacks
- A kiosk bag
- Folding chair
- Sunscreen
- Mist spray
- Hat
- Umbrella
- Sunglasses
- Comfy clothes (white if possible as black absorbs the sun and my friend and I were both dressed in all black LOL)
- A mat
- Portable charger
- Phone/camera
- Hand sanitiser
- Deodorant
- Earphones/headphones
- Cards/games to pass time
Out of the whole list I think the most essential would be the folding chair – it would make everything sooo much more comfy rather than sitting on the ground on a mat like we did, it was super hot that day too which made it worse with all the sweat. You could also bring nail polish to do your nails during the day like I did… no shame HAHAHA!
Here’s a pic I got of the actual fireworks – it was soooo pretty and totally worth the wait.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post!

That’s a great list! I would change just one little thing: cream or camel clothes are better, because white pieces get dirty easily.

Hahaha well I’m Australian so it was fitting since I just went to see the NY fireworks. Will definitely remind people about this post though around that time !
