Today I’ve got a review for y’all on the Rosehip Plus skincare range which includes their Rosehip Oil, Certified Organic Hydrating Day Cream, Certified Organic Nourishing Night Cream and their NEW Organic Daily Cream Cleanser! After using the rosehip oil I realised that my family and I have actually bought it before too which was kind of funny haha. First things first I love that their company uses only natural ingredients, it’s much better knowing what is actually in your products especially skincare & it’s great to know they’re all natural so no harsh chemicals will be smeared all over my face. Here’s a little bio of the Rosehip Plus company & on to the reviews we go!

Organic Daily Cream Cleanser

Price: $16.95

I think I’ll actually start off with their cleanser seeing as it’s new.

It claims:

Blended with our pure RosehipPLUS™ Rosehip Oil, this Daily Cream Cleanser gently lifts away make-up and impurities. Containing Jojoba and Sea Buckthorn, it helps to maintain the skins perfect moisture balance for optimum comfort and radiance

It is the Daily Essential.

Pros

The best thing I love about this is that it’s a cream cleanser, which basically means it doesn’t dry out your skin at all. After I use this cleanser my skin doesn’t feel tight, it actually feels quite moisturised and clean. The texture is sort of milky and leaves a nice firm on your face after use. I like the smell of this product as well, it sort of smells ‘rosey’? I’m not too sure how to describe it but it does smell good.

• Does not dry out face
• Cleanses face effectively
• Leaves face feeling soft

Cons:

The only tiny con would be that if it gets on your lips you will be able to taste it and let’s just say the taste isn’t so good (obviously). I don’t really count this as a con as you’re obviously not meant to eat it, haha.

Rosehip Oil

Price: $19.95 for 30mL, $29.95 for 50mL, $14.95 for the Rosehip Roll On (15mL)

It claims:

RosehipPLUS™ Rosehip Oil imported from Chile is a 100% pure and natural Certified Organic skincare product, cold pressed from the seeds of the Rosehip (Rosa Canina) that helps to support healthy-looking skin for use on the face and body.

RosehipPLUS™ Rosehip Oil is rich in naturally occurring vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids.

The benefits of RosehipPLUS™ Rosehip Oil

• Reduces the appearance of stretchmarks and scars
• Maintains skin hydration and softness
• Improves appearance of dry and sensitive skin
• Minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Promotes skin elasticity and texture

Pros

After a week and a half of continuous use, my face felt so soft and healthy. It feels firm and elastic as the product claims to do. This rosehip oil used in conjunction with their night cream is heaven! I did not experience any dryness on my face during the time I used this. I found that it did help reduce the visible scars on my cheek somewhat. Also I love the cute little roller ball, it allows you to quickly slap on some rosehip oil without having to get your hands dirty,

• Left skin feeling healthy and soft
• No dry spots
• Helped reduce scars

Cons

It doesn’t smell the best at first, but you do get used to it and the smell does get masked from the night cream.

Certified Organic Hydrating Day Cream

Price: $19.95

It claims:

RosehipPLUS™ Hydrating Day Cream is a 100% pure and natural Australian Certified Organic skincare product. Containing extract of the seeds of the Rosehip fruit (Rosa Canina), it supports and encourages a healthier looking skin.

RosehipPLUS™ Certified Organic Hydrating Day Cream:

• Maintain skin hydration and softness
• Improve the appearance of dry and sensitive skin
• Minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Pros

This moisturiser is extremely moisturising and has a nice scent (they all smell similar, minus the oil). I found that it left no dry patches on my face and left my face feeling soft. It’s a great everyday moisturiser especially for those with dry skin.

• Heavy duty moisturiser
• Great everyday moisturiser

Cons

There was one con about this, since I have oily skin if I use heavier moisturisers in the morning my face tends to get super oily which isn’t a good luck. This would be 100% perfect for those of you with dry skin, however I still enjoyed using this just had to blot a few extra times.

• Can make face look oily after awhile (if you have oily skin)

Certified Organic Nourishing Night Cream

Price: $29.95

It claims:

• Promote skin elasticity and texture

Pros

The night cream and the rosehip oil combined would have to make the ultimate skincare combo. I found while using the two for just one and a half weeks my skin tone became MUCH more even, and I’m not even exaggerating! My cheeks are almost the exact same colour as the rest of my face – previously they were a bit paler…not sure why. Again I like the scent of this product and it is extremely moisturising, no dry patches were left. I like how it doesn’t leave your face feeling like it’s got something on it or anything, it’s extremely light weight yet moisturising.
