Hi guys!

Today I’ve got a review for y’all on the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. Ever since I heard that they were coming out with a matte version of the Fit Me! I was soo excited and BUMMED out that it wouldn’t be released in Australia until later. But the time has finally come now and us Aussies have access to it! Anyway on to my review.

Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 HR Metal Eyeshadow

Hi guys!

Sorry I haven’t been posting as frequently as before, it’s because I’ve got my HSC trials coming up and then the big exam soon after – boy I cannot wait until it’s over! Anyway, I decided to pick the the Maybelline Color Tattoos awhile ago after hearing great things about them and put it to the test. I ended up getting two colours: “Bad to the Bronze” and “Bold Gold” as seen below.

First Impression Review: Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation

Hi guys,

So today I’m doing my first ever first impression review and it’s going to be on the Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation (what a mouth full!). I love mostly all of Maybelline’s products that I’ve tried so I was eager to give this a go.

The product claims:

The fluid touch formula with skin fusion pigments is lightweight and blends with your skin, yet so concentrated it coverscompletely. The exclusive dropper precisely delivers each precious drop for a finish that’s impeccable yet undetectable.

Review: Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 20 – Mango Pie

Hello everyone!

I have got another review for y’all today and this time it’s on the Maybelline Baby Lips. So many people have raved aout this product so I finally got around to trying them out, however I was disappointed by it & I normally love all of Maybelline’s products. I bought the flavour ‘Mango Pie’.

Maybelline Haul // Chemist Warehouse 50% Off Maybelline Haul – May 2015

Hey guys!

So today I’ve got another haul for y’all. I hadn’t planned to go shopping until my next holidays but I saw that Chemist Warehouse was having a 50% off the whole Maybelline range so I HAD to go – who can resist a great sale! I thought it was perfect timing too because I had planned to buy their Master Precise Eyeliner as soon as I saw it on sale somewhere. I thought I’d share what I bought with you guys so enjoy – also the sale is still on so get to your Chemist Warehouse ASAP before it ends!

Aussie makeup is super expensive so 50% is definitely a big deal! I had actually wanted to try out all these products so this was a perfect chance to grab them all.

Everything I bought totaled to $41.38.

Review: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (Fit Me! Dewy & Smooth Foundation)

Hellooo guys.

I’ve got a quick review for you all on the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (I wear the shade 210). Also I’ve realised they’ve released a new fit me foundation – the matte and poreless one! I definitely want to go and try that one out, have any of you tried it yet?

Price: $18.95

Packaging: I love the packaging of this foundation. I like that it is simple, chic and made of glass. The cap is very secure and will not fall off if you carry it in your bag. The only con for the packaging is that it does not come with a pump, which makes the usage and distribution more difficult (you may pour out too much, etc).

Pros:

The consistency of the foundation is very smooth and applies easily with either a brush or fingers. The coverage is exceptional for a drug store foundation, it can cover all my acne scars and acne to an extent. Another pro is that the foundation comes in a lot of different shades which suits many skin tones (mine matches almost perfectly!). When applied the foundation does not appear as cakey, but if not set with a powder it is very shiny – I set mine with the Fit Me powder and it looks near flawless.

Cons:

It lasts an average length of time, does wear off during the day and it does get oily after a few hours (although this can be fixed by oil blotting sheets). As stated above, if the foundation is not set with a powder, it appears very shiny and unnatural. The foundation also feels a little heavy on the face, compared to my Covergirl one, but this is acceptable for the coverage it gives. The greatest con for me, however, is that it does not come with a pump. This is not a friendly foundation for oily skin.

Recommend?

I would recommend this foundation to anyone (unless you have oily skin). It is probably one of the best drug store foundations out there and provides great coverage. It is easy to apply and definitely suitable for special occasions or everyday wear.

Rate: 3/5

What are your thoughts on this foundation? Also leave down below any other good drug store foundations because I’d love to try out some more! 🙂

Amy x

PS. I’m pretty sure I’m like the last person on earth to do a review on this product, hahaha!
