I’ve got a review for y’all today on the Avene Micellar Water! It’s a new micellar water on the market and I thought I’d put it to the test since micellar waters are all the rage currently and see if it was any good. If you’d like to hear my thoughts please keep reading.

The product claims:

Cleanance Micellar Water is a no-rinse product that gently eliminates impurities from the face and eyes (including make-up and light waterproof make-up) thanks to effective micelles and helps reduce excess sebum. Leaves the skin clear, cool and clean.

First of all I really like the packaging of the product, it’s very simple yet secure. I also love that we can actually see the product so you know how much you’re getting when you buy it and when it’s time to get a new one. I’d say the product is travel friendly due the nature of it’s lid (it’s one where you press down and it comes up the other side, haha best description). The micellar water itself smells really lovely once on the skin and on the cotton pad, it’s a ‘refreshing scent’ kind of like the soft ocean breeze and nothing too overpowering. Before trying out the Avene Micellar Water I was using the Garnier one, which is quite popular and also quite good, however I found that the Avene one was better at removing my ‘hard to get off makeup’. Such as my eyeliner, I had to soak my eye with the Garnier one about three times where as the Avene one most of it came off in one swipe, in which I was very impressed. So overall, I really like the Avene Micellar Water and will definitely continue to use it! I also love how clean and fresh my skin feels after using it.
