Review: Waterlily Hydrating Face Masque & Jasmine & Ginseng Moisturiser

Hi guys!

Today I have a review on the Waterlily Rosewood & Passionflower Hydrating Face Masque and their Jasmine & Ginseng Daily Moisturiser.

The Rosewood & Passionflower Hydrating Face Masque

It claims:

An instant moisture surge to replenish, plump and firm the complexion with a blend of anti-ageing nutrients to leave skin visibly youthful.

First of all I love the packaging of the mask, it comes in a sleek container and feels sturdy. The mask was easy to apply and glided on smoothly over my face, the colour of the mask is orange (I always find it fascinating to see what colour my face mask will be!). What was different about this mask for me was that it didn’t make my face feel tight while it was on and I could freely move my face without bits of the mask crumbling everywhere. After I washed off the mask I found my face felt super soft and hydrated to the point where I didn’t feel the need to use a moisturiser after (this is the first time that that’s happened as I have super dry areas on my face).

  • Nice packaging
  • Doesn’t make face feel tight
  • Extremely hydrating
  • Easy to apply and use
  • Zero mess

This Rosewood & Passionflower Hydrating Face Masque is available for $53 from spas across Australia – see stockists on www.waterlilyskinbodyspa.com.au

Jasmine & Ginseng Daily Moisturiser

2015-11-20 13.03.27

It claims:

Sheer daytime hydration targeting teenage skin to rebalance oil while toning the complexion.

PROS

Again, gorgeous packaging with a twist up lid, although it does feel somewhat cheap since it’s made of plastic and a bit rattly. I love how this moisturiser comes with a pump which makes it super hygienic and easy to control how much product you want. I use two pumps over my whole face and it absorbs within seconds. After a few days of use I have noticed my skin’s texture is more smooth and definitely more hydrated; when I wake up and wash my face it typically feels tight but ever since I’ve used this moisturiser that hasn’t been the case which says a lot.

  • Aesthetic
  • Comes with a pump
  • Travel friendly
  • Absorbs fast
  • Skin’s texture feels more smooth
  • Hydrating

CONS

The one thing I don’t really like about this product is the scent, it’s sort of floral/powdery but that’s just personal preference.

  • The scent

This Jasmine & Ginseng Daily Moisturiser can be purchased for $48.50 from spas across Australia – see stockists on www.waterlilyskinbodyspa.com.au

Hope you guys enjoyed my reviews! Let me know your must have skincare item.
