Today I’ve got a review on the VS Sassoon Diamond Waves Spiral Curling Wand. This is the first time I’ve used a curling wand as I normally use the ones with a clamp. Anyway, if you’d like to know my thoughts and experience please keep reading!

First of all I LOVE the packaging of this product, it comes in a gorgeous box and the product itself looks nice and sleek. I was a bit nervous about testing out this type of curling wand because I was almost certain I’d burn myself, but much to my relief I found that this curling wand comes with a heatproof glove and a heatproof mat which you can rest the iron on. The iron also was a built in stand which you can utilise alternatively which is always helpful and a big pro for me.

The iron heated up within a matter of minutes which is great for when you’re in a rush or if you’re just impatient like myself, haha. The iron comes with four different heat settings from 150°C-210°C – I use mine on 180°C.

I found the curling iron super easy to use even though it was my first time as the ridges in the iron created a guide for me and helped me create the perfect curls with ease. The curling wand created really nice curls, which you can customise to be loose, tight or in between. The curls were created effortlessly and quickly – I LOVED that this wand can’t kink my hair like my other one with a clamp if you do it awkwardly. Lastly, the curls created were silky, smooth and lasted all day without any problems.

My favourite feature of this wand would definitely be the design; the ridges make so easy to use even for beginners like myself as it creates a guide and helps create even, effortless waves. I am super impressed with this curling iron and would definitely recommend it to anyone, experts or beginners!
