Hey guys!
Today I’ve got a hit or miss post on some of Revlon’s makeup. These aren’t necessarily new I just thought I’d do a mini review on each one though!
First product I’d like to talk about is their moisture stains. To be honest, two out of the three had a really weird consistency and was clumpy when applied to my lips, I’m not sure why and as I tried to spread it out it just didn’t work. However for the most orange shade I absolutely LOVED the product. It felt really nice and moisturising, just like a lip balm on my lips and extremely comfortable. They are quite long wearing too as they fade into a nice stain. I think that the two moisture stains I got must’ve just been faulty or something since the other one was perfectly fine. Overall, I really enjoyed using their moisture stains and will definitely look to get some more shades in the future since I do think it was a one off thing with the clumpiness.
I don’t normally wear blush but I really enjoyed the natural, flushed look their cream blush gave off. It just gave a small hint of colour to my cheeks which I loved and was super easy to blend out when applied; gorgeous colour too!
Their mini quad eyeshadow palette is very handy for travel. The pigmentation is just above average, although not the best I’ve tried, however if used with a primer it gets the job done and is quite easy to blend. You definitely can create some beautiful, simple everyday looks with this palette. I also love all the neutral colours in the palette.
This is Revlon’s Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow (haha, I love that name!). I find that this highlighter gives a nice shine to your cheeks, however it is more on the sparkly side so if you prefer more natural/less sparkly highlighters this one may not be for you. I love the versatility of this palette though as you can mix and match the shades.
Out of all the products I reviewed my favourite would definitely have to be the moisture stains. I loved how comfortable and moisturising they were on my lips and how they left such a nice stain too. Let me know your fav product from Revlon!

I love Revlon! Especially their lip products. I think their a very under appreciated high-street make-up brand, with lots of dupes for the likes of Smashbox (photoready perfecting primer), Clinique (Matte Lip Balms), and even Mac (HD Matte Lipsticks).

I find Revlon so hit and miss! What did you think of their HD Matte Lipstick, I’ve read such a mix of reviews on them being amazing and them being not matte at all!x

Me too to be honest, I was kind of disappointed some of the moisture stains were weird… Hmm, I found that it’s more of a satin-matte finish rather than matte! x

But to be honest I didn’t wear the matte lipstick much since I didn’t like the colour on me, so I can’t say if it was good/bad overall x

I received this eyeshadow quad and Rose Glow highlighting palette in a gift set recently and honestly, I’m not the biggest fan. Like you said, the eyeshadows are decent enough but they’re not wow! The moisture stains sound lovely though 🙂

How do you find the highlighter? I’m a bit meh about it, tbh I feel like it’s too sparkly haha! Yeah they’re really nice, I like them a lot xx

I’m a bit the same. It’s a nice subtle everyday colour on me but I don’t think pink highlighters are my best friend. I’ll continue to try it out but it’s not at the top of my HG list.

Revlon has some really good products. It’s a shame some of them were not up to standard. At least it is purse-friendly.
