Hi guys!
Today I’ve got a review on something quite different and it’s the Monoderma E15 Hydrating and Soothing ‘pod’. It’s essentially a moisturiser (and can be used as a primer) in a tiny little pod like packet. I was so intrigued when I first saw these and was super keen to try them out. If you’d like to know my thoughts please keep reading.
It claims:
- Helps reduce celluar damage
- Hydrates dry and dehydrated skin
- Strengthens skin’s natural defense against external environmental factors
- Effective on stressed skin and helps minimise the appearance of the visible signs of ageing.
My first impression of this product was simply WOW. First of all I love the packaging of the product, it is extremely travel friendly and the pods do not pop unless you twist the cap with some force. What made me go WOW was the product itself. Once I put it all over my face it had absorbed leaving my face feeling silky smooth, the only way I can describe it is like how your skin feels after you put on the Porefessional primer by Benefit or the Baby Skin primer by Maybelline (unbelievably soft). I was told this can be also used as a primer for your makeup which makes it an awesome 2 in 1 and when I tested this out it helped my makeup glide on smoothly and appeared more flawless. My skin also felt super hydrated and this carried on to the next day – I typically have to moisturise my face after I wash it as it feels tight and dry, but this wasn’t the case the next morning.
- Travel friendly
- Innovative idea
- 2 in 1 product – moisturising and priming
- Dries instantly
- Extremely hydrating
- Makes skin feel like silk
- Allows makeup to glide on smoothly and flawlessly
Overall I found this product quite amazing from the innovative packing to how well it actually worked. It’s great for mornings you’re in a rush since it doubles up as a 2 in 1 moisturiser and primer.
They also have other types of products for anti-ageing, exfoliating/anti wrinkles available online. This particular one is available for $49.95 at http://www.eris-pharma.com.au
Great review Amy! The packaging is super enticing and oh so adorable. This definitely seems like a moisturizer I would benefit from as these cold winters dehydrate the crap out of my sensitive and flaky skin.
