Review: Pure Papaya (Paw Paw) Ointment

Hi guys!

Today I’ve got a review for y’all on the Pure Papaya (Paw Paw) Ointment. It’s a multi-use product which is pretty cool, you can use it as: lip balm to soothe cracked/irritated lips, for after tattoo care and to promote skin elasticity. I use it as a lip balm to soothe and moisturise my lips. Keep on reading to see what I like about it.

Pros

Personally I have really sensitive lips and they often react really weird if I’m not careful of what I put on them, for example sometimes they feel like they’re ‘sweating’, let me know if any of you know what I mean – it’s a terrible feeling! Anyway, because of how sensitive they are I have to be careful of what I put on them, thus all natural products seem to be the way to go as they have no harmful chemicals. So I love that this product is 100% natural. The product when on feels quite nourishing and removes any feelings of tightness on my lips. I found that the product feels light on the lips as well, so it’s great if you can’t stand the feeling of something on your lips, but that doesn’t really bother my anyway. The product lasts quite long on your lips which means you do not have to constantly reapply. Lastly, it doesn’t cause any weird reactions on my lips – woohoo!

  • Nourishing for lips
  • All natural ingredients
  • Did not cause any reactions for my sensitive lips
  • Light on your lips
  • Long lasting

Cons

My lips don’t feel FULLY moisturised, they can feel a little tight if I try open my mouth.

  • Not fully moisturising

Check my “About” if you’d like to know details about my age group, skin type, etc which could help you gauge the effectiveness of this product on your own skin.

Hope you guys enjoyed this review on the Pure Papaya (Paw Paw) Ointment.  I am always on the lookout for great lip balms and have so far only found 3 (including this one – the other two being carmex and nivea lip butters, although they’re not all natural I find that they work well for me most of the time).

The product is available on the Phytocare website.

  1. Love this wonder product as lip care but it is a sad thing that the moisturisation is not fully enough though yet if you are looking for a good quality naturally sourced lip care products, then you should definitely try Elizabeth Arden’s lip protectant that acts more than a lip balm which also has a good factor of spf 15 and the link is right here:https://lifestylebites3.wordpress.com/2015/06/24/a-lip-protectant-which-is-more-than-a-lip-balm/
