Collective Haul April 2015: Beauty, Candles & Fashion.

Hi guys!

So it’s already the end of April (crazy) and my holidays have officially ended :(. During the holidays though I was FINALLY able to do some shopping and picked a “few” things that I thought I would share. I got most of these things on sale too (love my bargains).

First of all I decided to purchase these TonyMoly skincare items (a Korean brand). They claim to remove blackheads and have so far been doing pretty well. I will definitely do an in depth review on these.

2015-04-09 18.24.44

“Blackhead Out Gel” – $14.

2015-04-09 18.26.04

“Tightening Pore” – $14.

2015-04-16 15.40.50

Olay Regenerist Specialty Cleanser – $25.

2015-04-23 15.26.18

AHA Face Masks 10pk – $10.

2015-04-14 00.09.20

A mineral foundation by Revlon – loving this so far! I got this for half price too at $15.

2015-04-14 00.09.30

L’Oreal Base Magique Primer – $20.

2015-04-14 00.10.08

Savvy Illuminiser – $1.50.

2015-04-14 11.28.52

My first ever lush product; the Bubblegum Lip Scrub – $9.95.

2015-04-23 15.28.51

Rimmel London Apocalips – “Eclipse” – $6. I accidentally bought the normal one and not the matte one so the transfer is crazy but oh well!

2015-04-16 15.43.09

Elf Makeup Mist & Set – $4.

Now I’m SOO excited about these purchases – I decided to get my hands on some real techniques products – I bought the expert face brush and the miracle complexion sponge. I definitely see the hype about these & am so amazed how well a sponge applies foundation!

2015-04-16 15.42.57

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush – $10.

2015-04-16 15.43.04

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – $16.

2015-04-16 22.22.59

Daiso “Puff and Sponge Detergent” – $2.80. I’ve tried using this and it doesn’t work well. If any of you have this let me know how you use it please!

So Natalie from “Light My Fire Melbourne” kindly sent me these two candles “Pomegranate Cocktail” and “Pineapple and Coconut” to try out (I just paid for the shipping). They both smell amazing however by clear favourite is the “Pomegranate Cocktail” one which wasn’t what I expected! I think the “Pineapple and Coconut” one has a more mature scent to it.

Candles: “Pineapple & Coconut” + “Pomegranate Cocktail”.

Her candles are quite unique as well since they have a wooden wick instead of the typical one. I find the wooden wick allows the candle to have a subtle, calm burn.

A unique wooden wick.

When the candle is first lit.

The subtle burn – it does flare up more than this too.

2015-04-18 15.08.05

As seen here this is when it flares up more.

I’d definitely recommend giving her candles a go because they smell amazing, are all hand made & are affordable. Here are all her links – she is also such a sweet person!

On to my fashion pieces – I apologise in advance for the shocking photography of these – I promise you they look a thousand times better in person!

2015-04-23 15.35.40

From Valleygirl – $4.95.

2015-04-23 15.34.56

From Valleygirl – $4.95

2015-04-23 15.33.52

From Paper Scissors – $15. This one looks horrible on camera but the colour is actually a deep khaki.

2015-04-23 15.32.44

From JayJays – $12.

That concludes the post – let me know what you guys purchased this month or products you’re loving!

    1. Hmmm I see – I bought it for a sponge though and it seems not to work at all >< I'll stick to baby oil hehe. She definitely is and her work is amazing! I'll definitely have a review coming up soon for the eggs xxx

  2. That’s quite the haul! Question, though: Do Lush products that are bottled up (like your lip scrub there) also bear that “Lush smell”? I always hear about how awesome everything smells, but I really despise THE LUSH SMELL. 🙂

    1. Hehehe I’m happy with everything I purchased! Hmm if you mean the overpowering smell then no, it has a lovely sweet, candy floss scent – smells reeeally nice! You can go in the shop and see for yourself if you like it or not 😉 hehe. Xx

  3. I have most of the products you have here too 🙂 I really like the Real Techniques expert brush – blends my foundation well. The Lush scrub tastes SO yummy, it won’t disappoint, as I’ve got the mint chocolate scrub 🙂 I have those AHA beauty masks too – I don’t always see a difference afterwards but they’re refreshing on the skin. I can’t wait to read reviews about the products you’ve bought! Great haul xx

  4. Oooooo such a wonderful haul! And OMG. I can’t believe that the lip scrub is your first LUSH product ever?!! Although, you are definitely starting with the best .. I am a LUSH hoarder and hands down the bubblegum lip scrub is my absolute favorite product. On the contrary.. such great steal of a deals on your fashionable cute goods.
