Collective Haul: February 2015

Hi everyone!

Can you believe February is already over? This year is speeding through, which is kinda scary since I’ve got my HSC at the end – ahhh! I am so excited to finish school though. Anyway, today’s post will be a HAUL! These are one of my favourite type of posts to read, so hope you all enjoy!

First of all I got an owl jewellery plate – soo cute! It was only $2.

Nail stripping tape, this is so awesome for nail art – I will definitely be posting some designs I create with this! Cost: $2

Desperately needed a new white nail polish as this is one of my fav nail polish colours & my other one literally dried up. Cost: $4

I haven’t bought nail polish in over a year because I refrained myself successfully – however when I saw these I had to, and guess how much these were?! $1 EACH!

Got these cute post it notes. Cost: $1.40 each.

Translucent powder – I wanted to try make my lips matte with this, will make a post on that soon! Cost: $10.

This lip crayon is such a disappointment – it is sheer and the colour pay off is horrible (the colour itself is not nice either). Got this on sale for $6, but I wish I could’ve returned it! Ugh.

This is definitely my favourite buy – I love the unique texture on the shorts! Cost: $10

Scales so I can keep track of my weight (been working out on and off for the past 2 years now..). Cost: $12.

The following are all from priceline, they had a special for rimmel so I had to go. I actually went with my mum and she ended up forcing me to let her pay for it all – which is super kind of her but I always feel bad when she does! However, I am so grateful for her kind heart, I honestly don’t think I deserve it!

Funny story, I had my last photo day on Tuesday and all my eyeliners stopped working (yeah, how is that possible?!). Luckily I had a gel eyeliner but it ALWAYS smudges which is why I never use it, but worse came to worse and I had to -_-. I hope this eyeliner works well! Cost: $13.95

Yes, I had to get 4 because they were HALF price! I did a review on this which if you read, you would know much I love this product. Cost: $5

This is the only lip balm I can use – my lips are super sensitive and if I use others it becomes all weird and tingly which is super annoying. Cost: $6.50 each.

My favourite moisturiser. Let me know what other great ones there are because I want to try new ones! Cost: $3.50

This is what we got for free. The rimmel special was spend $20+ in one transaction and get a free gift set. We made two transactions. Not too excited about the polishes and mascara (I already have those colours) but I am SO excited to use the provocalips!

I got some really great bargains this month – the best being the $1 nail polishes (YEEES)! What are some things you bought this month which you’re super excited to use? Also leave me some recommendations for great face moisturisers & other lip products (I’m becoming obsessed)!

Amy x

PS.  This is the first time I edited/made a collage of photos for my featured image, how do you guys like it? 🙂

  2. You picked up some great bits and pieces! I love the look of the Provocalips, although I have heard that they’re a pain to remove!
    Great post x

  3. That striping tape looks awesome! I’ve tried so many different ways to get straight lines or designs but none of them every work, let us know how that goes!

  4. I’ve swatched the provocalips on the back of my hand one time, as I just wanted to see the colour pay off. I believe the colour is amazing, has a nice scent but the downfall is, it didn’t come off my hand after a day or two! But it definitely doesn’t smudge on anything. If you have a good makeup remover that can battle anything strong, then go for it! But I love the provocalips! Great colours with the ones you got 😀

      1. Haha, get onto it! Then you can show me (and your followers) the awesome colour pay offs on your lips and how you get them off 😀 can’t wait!
